Boom Barrier

A boom barrier is a bar, or pole pivoted to allow the boom to block vehicular access through a controlled point. Typically the tip of a boom gate rises in a vertical arc to a near vertical position. Boom gates are often counterweighted so the pole is easily tipped. Boom gates are often paired either end to end, or offset appropriately to block traffic in both directions. Some boom gates also have a second arm, which pivots on links that allow the second arm to hang 300 to 400 mm below the upper arm when it descends into the horizontal position, to increase approach visibility.

Turnstile

A turnstile, also called a baffle gate, is a form of gate which allows one person to pass at a time. It can also be made so as to enforce one-way traffic of people, and in addition, it can restrict passage only to people who insert a coin, a ticket, a pass, or similar.

Thus a turnstile can be used in the case of paid access (sometimes called a faregate when used for this purpose), for example public transport as a ticket barrier or a pay toilet, or to restrict access to authorized people, for example in the lobby of an office building.

Flap Barrier

Flap Barrier Turnstile is a Cutting Edge solution that provides a combination of reliable mechanical as well as electronic restriction for unauthorized Entrants. The advantages of using a Turnstile compared to a conventional Gate include the better utilization of manpower, increased reliability and improved security. This Flap mechanism allows a single employee to enter into the premises, by opening the Flap only after verification through the Access Control Module that is integrated onto the Turnstile.

Swing Gate Control

Swing gates open with a rotation around a fulcrum, just like an ordinary door. When the gate’s doors open, they usually turn inward thus requiring specific internal space.

The automations are usually powered by the 230V supply and 24Vdc, which, thanks to the low voltage alimentation, guarantees a safer functioning.

Slide Gates System

The motor will drive the gate back and forth using a rack and pinion mechanism on the gate, powered by a cog at low level on the gate motor. This configuration however does require that the ground is relatively level and that a steel beam can be sunk into the ground the full length of the gate in both the open and closed positions.
